Rachel Tinker

Rachel is a compassionate and experienced behavioural change coach and mentor, specialising in mindset shifts, empowerment, and guiding clients toward autonomy, self-regulation, and lasting personal growth. She provides a safe, non-judgemental space where clients are truly heard and can explore practical solutions that support self-discovery and confidence.

Rachel holds an MSc in Psychology and is a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society (GMBPSs). She is also a certified member of the UK & International Health Coaching Association (UKIHCA), the International Stress Management Association (ISMA), and the International Society for Coaching Psychology (ISCP). With empathy, inclusivity, and discretion at the core of her work, Rachel follows the BPS code of ethics, and all client sessions are confidential.

 

She is a strong advocate for digital wellbeing and the safe, responsible use of online spaces.

In her behavioural science research, she has conducted advanced studies on smartphone addiction and the impacts of digital technology on human health, autonomy, connection, and decision-making, including online harms and digital manipulation. 

Rachel is the founder of Smartphone Balance (www.smartphonebalance.com), supporting individuals and organisations to reduce digital overload and regain control.
